One tradition that is very prominent in my family is coming together and meeting. We like to have family reunions/ family get-togethers.


Today in class, we caught up on work to make sure we were on track.

  Prompt: Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life? A real moment in my life where I felt like it was the beginning of a powerful story is when I started to truly plan my life, what I want to do, and what I can realistically do, and how I can achieve my goals. This felt like a turning point because I gained goals and know what I would like to do. Today in class, we analyzed Dr.King's I Have a dream speach and broke down 1 specific form of rhetoric. I understood today why, in Dr.King's first line, it was a hyperbole.
