Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

Prompt: As we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your favorite word, and how often do you use it?  My favorite word right now would have to be success because that's how I approach every assignment with the intent of succeeding. I dont really use it too often, but I think of it when I do things in school. In class today, we worked on our presentation of linking the poem we read in class to our own personal lives. Today I learnt about all of the things that you can do in PowerPoint to make it easier to do your presentations.

In “Birches,” Robert Frost celebrates imagination as a way to escape life’s difficulties and reconnect with innocence. The speaker wishes to “get away from earth awhile” but also understands that he must eventually return to reality. Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

After reading  “Out, Out—”  by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome? After reading out out I think about the AP World AP exam that demanded my full concentration and if I didn't, then I could have failed the exam Today in class, we read the poem out out and had a class discussion about it. I learnt how to more deeply analyze poems and understand their meanings through reading them multiple times.

Prompt: How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day. I find time to enjoy myself throughout the day, even with a lot of things going on. For example, when my day is full of work to do, I find enjoyment in the work and the feeling of getting the work accomplished. Another thing that I like to do is find small breaks to play short games like Clash. Also, who doesn't like to take a short snack break every once in a while? Today in class, we worked on our ambush argumentative paragraphs.  I worked on not making the evidence from the author's pov but from the story's views and how it was written.

Today in class, we worked on our argument stories about whether there is such a thing as a good kill. I see the different viewpoints of the arguments about whether there can be a good kill, and I think that there can be, especially if you need to defend yourself.

Prompt: As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?  As I grow older, I know I will have to stand up to my family about their opinions about phones and technology in general because I feel that they go by the first thing that they hear, ex. I heard someone I know in school say you can rotate the iPhone 17 Pro Max camera bar, and I had to argue with them about the topic.
