Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

I have felt a deep connection to nature when I go camping in the woods. We set up tents and found firewood to make a fire. We had to clear an area for our tents and move sticks, rocks, and leaves to ensure our sleeping arrangements were comfortable. We woke up in the morning when the sun rose, as I would assume the native americans also did. This is when I have felt connected to nature and to the native americans. This was for camping in the Boy Scouts.

Today we had an intro to native american let and we looked over vocabulary 1.

I learned today about who the native americans are in society and some of their traditions.

A real moment in my life where I felt like it was the beginning of a powerful story is when I started to truly plan my life, what I want to do, and what I can realistically do, and how I can achieve my goals. This felt like a turning point because I gained goals and know what I would like to do. Today in class, we analyzed Dr.King's I Have a dream speach and broke down 1 specific form of rhetoric. I understood today why, in Dr.King's first line, it was a hyperbole.
