Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind? My mind is like a blueprint full that is full of potential plans and ideas but sometinge the constuction crew takes their time getting started. That is the metaphor that I would use to describe my own mind saying that I have many ideas but I dont act fast enough on them like I should. no summary or reflection because i was absent

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on . An adventure that I would like to go on would be to China. I would like to see all of the technology that they have there. For example, I would love to see the phones that they have over there, as well as the electric cars. It's a really nice mix of modern tech, and there is also a lot of nature there, since it is such a high place, there are lots of things to discover. Summary and reflection not here because I was absent

Describe something you will never fully understand

Describe something you will never fully understand Something that I will never understand will be money because nobody truly knows what happens with all the money in the world; money mysteriously disappears, and the stock market fluctuates greatly, and no one person can understand all the money in the world and how it all works. Summary: Today in class, we watched as our classmates presented their origin myth posters Reflection: today I understood how other people think and how that relates to the stories that they create based on who you are, you write differently.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work. Prompt Response:  The most creative thing that I have ever made would have to be my PC, which I built from scratch, piece by piece. It stands out to me because there were so many things that could have gone wrong while building it, yet almost none did; it booted first try with everything functioning. Summary: Today in class, we worked on our origin myths some more, and we went over how to use Adobe Express. Reflection:  Today, I understood some of the mistakes that I made while writing my origin myth, and I corrected them, like making sure to give my characters names, not just labels.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you. Prompt Response:  Some questions I have about this world are those bugs that we don't like as in mosquito's and flies why do they chose to bother us why couldn't they just not interact with humans. Another question that I have about life is why cant we as humans be able to control our sleep as in go to sleep exactly when we wish meaning when you lay in bed it takes like 10 minutes to go to sleep why cant that be instant. Summary: Today in class we worked on our own origin myths and started writing them. Reflection:  Today I realized that I shouldn't spend all of my time planning a story in exact detail I should get a general idea and then I s...

Prompt: Describe a time you felt completely lost.

A time I felt completely lost was when I was about to take my French final for French 3. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, even though I had been studying for weeks on end and had even hired a tutor. At that time in my education, I hadn't had to actually study or memorize anything. All of my other classes came to me naturally and easily without studying, and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't grasp the subject. Eventually, with the help of my tutor, we figured out that I needed flashcards and to memorize at least half of the formulas/ rules to understand what to do, and by doing that and other practice, I managed to keep my grade in the class above 89.5. Summary: Today in class, we presented and listened while others presented their parts of the story. Reflection:  Today, I learned about details of the origin myth I wouldn't have thought about, like how the birds that they turned into symbolized freedom.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples. Prompt Response:  Over the last 2 weeks, I have adapted by seeing what my classes are like, what work I get, and how the teachers want it. There have been some challenges, particularly this super slow computer that the school tells us to use, which lags whenever you do any little thing, but I have just accepted that my work will be slowed down. For my classes, I have learned to ask more questions, such as in AP Physics, where it is challenging to comprehend, and through that, I have started to gain a better understanding of the material. I have also been putting all of my assignments in Google Tasks with notes under them, and I can see those on every device that I have, like my slow school Chromebook, my actual laptop, my phone, and my watch. One challenge I foresee is getting ...

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt Response:  A time when jealousy has negatively affected my life is when I see other people on the internet with nice things that I want. This happens when I see people buy things or offer discounts, so I get jealous and feel a need to purchase that item. There was this time when I saw a discount on a website, so I became jealous of what others had, and I ordered the item in a rush, but it turns out the pants were a size too small, and now only the sweater fits me. So whenever you feel jealous of something, you should stop and think, what if I didn't; In my case, what if I didn't see this discount? Summary: Today in class, we read a story about jealousy and what it does to a person. Reflection:  Today, I learned how jealousy can truly hurt you more than others in the story. A lot of people were jealous of each other, including the father of the son and the witches who wanted to strike the son down for themself and ended up killing each other.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

Prompt Response:  My childhood pictures hold meaning to me as they carry my life's story. They have stories that carry value to me because I don't just remember all of them. I need something to jog my memory and remind me of the things that happened to me. They carry meaning because they show me who I was. If you lose your childhood, you lose a part of you, so that's why they are meaningful to me. Summary: Today in class, we went over the Navajo creation story, which is an origin myth. Reflection:  Today I learnt about where the native americans' beliefs come from and what stories they relate. One example is the Navajo creation relates to biblical stories and other religions with Noah's ark.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

I have felt a deep connection to nature when I go camping in the woods. We set up tents and found firewood to make a fire. We had to clear an area for our tents and move sticks, rocks, and leaves to ensure our sleeping arrangements were comfortable. We woke up in the morning when the sun rose, as I would assume the native americans also did. This is when I have felt connected to nature and to the native americans. This was for camping in the Boy Scouts. Today we had an intro to native american let and we looked over vocabulary 1. I learned today about who the native americans are in society and some of their traditions.
