  Prompt: If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.  If I wrote a poem about my life right now, it would probably be about college and figuring out my future. I think about engineering a lot, but I also really like photography and tech, so it would be about trying to balance both. It would talk about stress from school and wanting to do well, but also being excited about what’s next. It wouldn’t be super deep, just honest about trying to make good choices. Mostly it would be about working hard now so things pay off later. Today in class, we went over writing a rhetorical thesis, and we worked on our common lit. Through the common lits I learned today more about how your brain works for social situations and pressures.

  Prompt: When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?  When I am in a mood that I do not like, I go and work out to clear my mind and drink a lot of water so that I can clear my mind. Today in class, we worked on a news article about why ice is slippery. I learned that everything that touches ice basically melts it.

  Prompt: Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.  My personal approach to creativity is to just go with the flow. I don't really plan when I'm being creative. Like when I shoot film for film class, I have somewhat of a plan, but when I shoot, I just shoot what feels right. Today in class, we did vocab, and I did my rhetoric quiz. Today I learnt what the word alley means, which is to reduce the intensity of something.

The most effective type of rhetoric, I think, would be a hypophora because you ask a question, then you immediately give your postion and you explain why it's right  Not in class for summary and reflection

Prompt: Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. The word cerebral fits me because I like thinking and solving problems. I enjoy working with technology and figuring out how things work, which makes me feel challenged and proud. Today in class we did vocab wrote senteces and did exercise 3 and 4. Today I learnt the word Cogent which means a convencing so like convincing someone to do something for you.

  Prompt:  Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself. A time when I didn't feel like myself waswhen  I got sick, and I think I started hallucinating. Today we listened to Dr. King's 'I Have a Dream' speech. I learnt today that Dr.King is very good at using Rhethoric.

  Prompt: Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.  A place I feel the most peace is at home becuase its my home. Today in class, we did some more rhetorical devices. I learned about the rhetorical device of an analogy, which is using something everyone knows to describe something people dont know.

  Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel? A time that I had to rely on others was my film project, where I had to rely on my group to come to school with the right stuff and do their work on time, which happened sometimes. It was not a good experience, but I have had good experiences with people who I know are academically inclined. Today, we went over more Rhetorical devices. Today I learnt what a procatalepsis which is like a hypherbora but you immediately object to the opposition.

Prompt: What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school? Some skills that I have learned are coding, which will help me in my major of EE. I have also learnt a lot of social skills throuhg my time in high school. Today in class we went over rhetorical devices and we analyzed a trump speech for them. Today I relized how usefull rhetorical devices are to help you get what you want like when trump wanted the wall he used many diffrent rhetorical devices to convince the people.

Today’s lesson was so important that it probably changed the universe (hyperbole) , but you know, that’s the day I wasn’t there. From what I didn’t see, it was just a little important (understatement) and not the most exciting thing ever ( litotes ) . Not at school for summery and reflection

I spent my break catching up on sleep playing games taking pictures studying traveling and eating way to many calories overall it was a very enjoyable break but especialy catching up on my sleep The first goal that I want to achieve this year is maintaining at least  an A  average in all of my classes,  especially math and physics, which are the main  classes  that are related to the major  I  want to do (engineering) .  In order to achieve this goal, I will need to take notes every day in class, complete assignments early so I can double-check them for mistakes, and study daily, and near the end of the semester I need to be constantly double checking to make sure...
